SJYO Volunteer Opportunities

In order for the SJYO to succeed, we require full parental support and participation. A tremendous level of parent support and participation makes a crucially positive statement to each and every SJYO member, when they see parents involved in the important role. A high level of volunteer participation also has a positive impact when discussed in grant applications and requests for sponsors and donations. Fundraiser:
Experienced Fundraiser needed immediately for solid, growing youth orchestra based in Jefferson County, Colorado. Position requires active solicitation to corporations, businesses, and individuals interested in music performance and community youth education activities. Position will be supported by an active direct mail/marketing program and management team. Part-time arrangement negotiable. Earned commission compensation. Grant Writer:
Experienced Grant Writer, preferably with active book of grantor contacts, to take charge of grant-writing program for a growing, high-profile youth orchestra in Jefferson County, Colorado. Position will be supported by an active grant-writing and marketing team. Demonstration of grant-writing skills required. Compensation based on experience. Part-time arrangement negotiable.
